Southwest Tours (Boracay), Inc. Passenger Terms & Conditions
1. Identity Verification
All passengers must present a valid photo ID matching the name on their booking upon arrival or service commencement. Senior citizens and PWDs must present their respective IDs to avail of applicable discounts. For group bookings, the lead passenger’s ID suffices for verification.
2. No-Show Policy
Failure to appear at designated pick-up points (airport, hotel, or meet-up locations) at the scheduled time will result in a 100% charge with no refund.
3. Punctuality Requirements
Arrivals: Guests must be at the meet-up location on time; late arrivals may forfeit their seats to waitlisted guests.
Departures: Guests should be at the embarkation point at least 30 minutes before departure; latecomers risk losing their seats to waitlisted passengers.
4. Booking Amendments
Requests to amend bookings (e.g., time, number of passengers, pick-up/drop-off locations) must be made more than 5 hours before the scheduled service. Amendments within 5 hours may be declined.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Full refunds apply for cancellations made 30 days or more before the transfer date. Refunds decrease as the service date approaches:
- 90% for 20–29 days prior
- 80% for 10–19 days prior
- 60% for 6–9 days prior
- 40% for 3–5 days prior
- 20% for 2 days prior
- 10% for 1 day prior
No refund is given for cancellations made less than 24 hours before service.
6. Force Majeure
Southwest Tours is not liable for service disruptions due to events beyond its control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, or civil unrest.
7. Liability Limitations
Lost/Damaged Luggage: Liability is limited to the actual damage or a maximum of ₱3,000 per luggage, whichever is lower.
Missed Flights: Liability is limited to the actual flight cost or ₱5,000 per person, whichever is lower. Accommodation expenses until the next available flight are covered up to ₱1,500 per night per guest.
8. Baggage Policy
Allowance: Each passenger is allowed two (2) hand-carried luggage items. Excess luggage is charged at ₱250 per piece.
Unclaimed Baggage: Items unclaimed within 30 days post-service completion may be disposed of, and storage fees may apply.
9. Prohibited Items
The following are not allowed on board:
- Ammunition, fireworks, flammable substances, compressed gases, corrosives, radioactive materials, oxidizers, poisons, infectious substances, and items in commercial quantities.
- Firearms must be surrendered to security personnel before boarding.
- Improperly packed items like fruits or fish are prohibited unless adequately sealed.
10. Live Animals & Plants
Only household pets (e.g., dogs, cats, rabbits) with valid Quarantine Permits and proper cages are allowed. Plants require a Quarantine Permit. Animals are not permitted in passenger areas and travel at the owner’s risk.
11. Porterage Services
Porterage is not included in transfer fees. Third-party porterage services may be arranged for a fee, but Southwest Tours is not liable for their performance.
12. Passenger Responsibilities
By booking, passengers agree to comply with all terms, conditions, and regulations set forth by Southwest Tours. Non-compliance may result in service denial without refund.
Note: Service rates, schedules, and departure times are subject to change without prior notice. Altered or tampered tickets are considered void.
